Alchemy
Craft potions, decoctins, oils and bombs to prepare for any encounter.
In WitcherCraft, as in the Witcher series, alchemy is a core part of being a Witcher. Using alchemy you can craft powerful potions, weapon oils, and bombs — without any crafting station, anywhere in the world.
Press B to open the Alchemy Menu. The menu has 8 slots:
- Slot 1 — Alchemy base (White Seagull for potions, Tallow for oils, Saltpeter for bombs).
- Slots 2–7 — Alchemy ingredient slots.
- Slot 8 — Crafting result. Insert required ingredients then click Brew.
Potions provide temporary buffs. Each potion consumed raises your Toxicity. The alchemy base for potions is White Seagull. Potion effects can be enhanced by wearing Manticore School Gear.
Decoctins are more powerful than standard potions but carry a higher toxicity cost. Each is derived from a monster and grants abilities inspired by that creature. The alchemy base is White Seagull.
Oils are applied to weapons as enchantments. Each oil targets a specific enemy archetype, dealing bonus damage to matching mob types. The alchemy base for oils is Tallow. Oil power can be enhanced by wearing Viper School Gear.
Bombs are throwable projectiles with area-of-effect behaviors. The alchemy base for bombs is Saltpeter. Bomb effects can be enhanced by wearing Wolven School Gear.
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. The Alchemy tab of the Skill Tree contains upgrades that enhance potions, oils, and bombs. Key upgrades include increased potion duration, healing on potion use, bomb area increase, and a 33% chance to activate a secondary random potion effect.
